STUDENT'S PAGE

This new page is available exclusively to student's
who have attended one of my courses or bought my e-book.

Presumably your here because you have had some tuition from me, or are a privelidged visitor.

Either way you may want to have some more
personal tuition on Watercolour Painting.
If thats the case please allow me to
make some suggestions.

OPTION 1
Book a beginners half day course then go it alone, maybe also buy the e-book to guide you through the process.
This option is best suited to those, who may not be comfortable
learning in the company of others, and prefer it to be a solitary experience.

Maybe even book the odd hour on Skype for additional guidance if required.

OPTION 2
As above but also come to one of the regular Art Clubs. This option would suit someone who's idea about their hobby is to learn at home sometimes, but who would like to improve their circle of friends, and learn in the supportive company of other artists, and like minded people.

OPTION 3
Any or none of the above, but also to book a complete structured course, over a number of sessions to suit you.
The Course is 20 Lessons in Length each taking 3-4 hours
  1. ALL ABOUT LIGHT
  2. LOOKING SEEING AND PAINTING SIMPLE TONES
  3. REALLY LOOKING AND DRAWING WHAT YOU SEE
  4. COMPOSITION
  5. COUNTER-CHANGE
  6. RECESSION
  7. COLOUR MIXING
  8. WHICH BRUSH TO USE FOR WHAT
  9. THE 3 MAIN PAINTING TECHNIQUES
  10. OTHER TECHNIQUES AND OTHER NEAT TRICKS
  11. AVOIDING MUD AND KEEPING IT CLEAN AND FRESH
  12. PAINTING SKIES
  13. PAINTING LAND
  14. PAINTING WATER AND REFLECTIONS
  15. PAINTING TREES, BUSHES AND GRASSES
  16. PAINTING BUILDINGS
  17. PAINTING PEOPLE, ANIMALS, BIRDS AND BOATS
  18. PAINTING STILL LIFES AND FLOWERS
  19. PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
  20. FINDING YOUR OWN STYLE
There is also a supplementary FREE LESSON at the end of the course called Presentation, Marketing and Exhibitions.

THE OPTION 3 COURSE
This is the most intensive way of learning and is completely flexible, and designed to suit you.
You can learn at a speed to suit you having lessons a few times a week, or once a month or more frequently, it is completely your choice, and you can change at anytime you like.
The course is designed with your total convenience in mind.

You can either book, and pay for blocks of lessons say four at a time, or book the whole course which makes an ideal Birthday or Christmas Present. Buying this way is also the cheapest method and comes nicely presented in a gift box which includes a unique, Hand- Painted personalised Greeting Card
and invitation to the course. It also comes with a Free Gift of the CD of the whole course, so that special someone in your life has something to wet their appetite, on their special day.

OR MAYBE YOU WANT TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN SUBJECTS ?
You can even 'cherry pick' from the lessons if there are some subjects you feel will be less interest to you, maybe because you already feel that these particular areas, are your strengths perhaps, no problem just choose the ones you do want to do.

The course is available either in Cherkovo, at a location of your choosing (by special arrangement), or in a Hotel in beautiful Sozopol on the Black Sea Coast Resort, at additional cost.

If you would like to discuss any of these options, or any of your own then please let me know.

Remember a Gift of Watercolour Painting Lessons lasts a lifetime, and not just for Christmas !

For the cost of all the tuition options please see my

FURTHER READING

During my courses I sometimes make reference to Artists or Publications that have helped or influenced me in the past.
I list them below for your information.
It may be worth doing a Google search to start with until Amazon comes to Bulgaria !

Ron Ranson - Books 'The Ron Ranson Technique' and 'Fast and loose'.
Whilst I really don't like most of his work his technique using only a big brush called a hake made me loosen up as an Artist.

Edward Seago - Influential English Landscape Artist
I love most of his work

Rowland Hilder - Influential English Artist
I once had the pleasure of exhibiting a few of my very early works alongside a full sheet 'Hilder Original' in The British Watercolour Society, in The Winter Gardens in Ilkley. His handling of scenes of rural Kent and the oast houses were a constant influence on me. His latest book was a must have for me, and a regular Christmas present in an earlier life.

John Blockley - English Artist
His Work and Books got me hooked on textures and opened my eyes to more unusual techniques !

Ashley Jackson - Yorkshire Artist
Great with skies and recording the moods of Nature that influenced me !
Oh and he is from Yorkshire too.
