FURTHER READING
During my courses I sometimes make reference to Artists or Publications that have helped or influenced me in the past.
I list them below for your information.
It may be worth doing a Google search to start with until Amazon comes to Bulgaria !
Ron Ranson - Books 'The Ron Ranson Technique' and 'Fast and loose'.
Whilst I really don't like most of his work his technique using only a big brush called a hake made me loosen up as an Artist.
Edward Seago - Influential English Landscape Artist
I love most of his workRowland Hilder - Influential English Artist
I once had the pleasure of exhibiting a few of my very early works alongside a full sheet 'Hilder Original' in The British Watercolour Society, in The Winter Gardens in Ilkley. His handling of scenes of rural Kent and the oast houses were a constant influence on me. His latest book was a must have for me, and a regular Christmas present in an earlier life.John Blockley - English Artist
His Work and Books got me hooked on textures and opened my eyes to more unusual techniques !Ashley Jackson - Yorkshire Artist
Great with skies and recording the moods of Nature that influenced me !
Oh and he is from Yorkshire too.
