WHATS NEW ABOUT ART STEVO ?
Well it's been three years since I designed the original site, and it became a bit dull and cumbersome, so I decided to zip it up, to reflect my new brighter palette, and also to slim it down quite a bit too.
The web wizards have also come up with lots of new stuff and widgets, that I'm still grappling with, so I wanted it to reflect that new optimism and modern image.
It also gives me the chance to include lots more interactivity within the site like tutorials and youtube videos.
The year has been a busy one in many ways, with the studio in Sozopol meaning I could paint right through the Winter.
It also saw my first, second and third prints runs of my Limited Edition Postcards, and a recent range of Bookmarkers which should be printed soon.
Just recently I also decided to let everyone share my joy of Watercolour Painting, by giving my e-book 'Watercolours for Beginners' a step by step guide, away completely Free. Although a small 'donation' via my e-book page would be very much appreciated !
I'm planning on writing a second one soon, so watch this space !
The year also saw my first Art Holidays in Bulgaria, which has lead directly to teaching posts in South East Asia this Winter, and as you can imagine I am very excited about not only the teaching, and meeting new people and cultures, but also seeing how the visit influences my painting style and techniques.
Incidentally inspiration for this website design came from one of the kids in Burgas who splashed the back of my shirt, without me knowing, much to the other kids amusement I'm sure......
Anyway enough talking enjoy the site !
